Itinerary for the 2-Night Camel Trek in Merzouga, Morocco
Day 1: Your adventure begins as you ride camels through the majestic sand dunes. Along the way, you will stop to enjoy a beautiful sunset before arriving at Merzouga Camp Africa. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted with traditional tea. Afterward, enjoy some live music and take a peaceful stroll around the camp to admire the star-filled sky. You will enjoy a delicious dinner and spend the night in a well-equipped desert camp, accompanied by the soothing rhythms of Berber drums.
Day 2: Following breakfast at Merzouga Camp Africa, we will embark on a camel ride to visit local Bedouin communities. Here, you will have the opportunity to share lunch with a nomadic family. After some rest, we will return to Merzouga Camp Africa by camel. Upon arrival, we will dismount and enjoy some fun sandboarding in the dunes. We will then venture across a vast area, stopping at a desert spring in the highlands before making our way back to the camp as the sun sets.
Day 3: Wake up early to witness the breathtaking desert sunrise before enjoying a hearty breakfast and a refreshing shower at the camp. Afterward, we will ride camels back to Merzouga, where we conclude your unforgettable 2-night camel trekking adventure in the Sahara Desert.
